SHiP is a long established group of housing associations working in the fields of support and supported housing. Member organisations are mainly based in London and south east England but we also have members from other parts of the country. SHiP was originally set up to facilitate housing associations' shared interest in and monitoring of agency managed services and this is still a significant part of the group's work.
The remit of SHiP has grown since its inception and it is now a company limited by guarantee. SHiP provides a forum for information sharing, training and development of best practice. One of the most popular events organised by SHiP is our annual two day conference held in Brighton. As the programme for the conference is drawn up according to members' priorities, it is not surprising that the feedback is extremely positive and the conference is always very well attended.
